Flinders Quarter Augmented Art Walk 2021

YOU CAN FIND SOMETHING TRULY IMPORTANT IN AN ORDINARY MINUTE
“Inspired by the resilience of nature and people that endured the bush fire tragedy and pandemic event that happened in 2020, Jina seeks to express the harmony of lives and dwellings on our fragile Earth that is often taken for granted. The journey of life is scattered with unexpected adversities but when we overcome them, we find life’s treasures. The composition is representative of the spirit of recovery – the big kangaroo figure touching the earth, surrounded by joeys, as a circle of life and mortality, and how fleeting it can be.”
The project is supported by Melbourne Metro Tunnel and Cross Yarra Partnership.
